BAUDUCCO brand wafers and cookies, manufactured by Pandurata Alimento, Sao Paulo, Brazil, is no longer under Star-K Certification. Products bearing the Star-K symbol were produced under certification.

The following kashrus alert is from the cRc on July 12, 2011.

Several breads from Today’s Temptations (Chicago, IL) are not kosher certified.
Only those Today’s Temptations products bearing the cRc on the label are certified kosher and are pareve and pas yisroel.

The following South African kashrus alert is from the Beth Din of Johannesburg on July 6, 2011.

"Heartland Oatsli Cluster, choc-chip, peanut and raisin", bears a PAREV logo, yet mentions "milk chocolate" on the ingredient panel. The PAREV logo is Correct. The choc-chips used are dark parev chocolate and the ingredient panel is incorrect. Heartland are correcting their ingredient panel.

The following Mexican kashrus notice from KMD Mexico on July 10, 2011 (translated by Mildred Seigel.)

Posterior a cumplir con los lineamientos de Kashrut e instalar supervisor fijo (mashguiaj temidi) se renueva la supervisión de la empresa The Fish Boutique como Mehadrin Parve a partir de hoy.
Translation: After fulfilling the requirements of kashrut and hiring a full time mashguiach, 'The Fish Boutique Company' has been recertified as Mehadrin Pareve as of today.

La Empresa The Fish Boutique con venta de pescado a domicilio, ya NO cuenta con nuestra supervisión ,por tener fallas en el kashrut, aún portando el sello KMD.
Translation: "The Fish Boutique" which sells to homes is no longer under our supervision due to problems with its kashrut even though it still bears the label KMD.

The following kashrus alert is from the OU on July 11, 2011.

Hershey’s Strawberry Syrup, when manufactured and distributed in America, bears an OU-D symbol. The same product, when produced for export to Israel, has no OU symbol on the label. Mor Yam, an Israeli importer of Hershey’s Strawberry Syrup, placed a sticker on top of the label, with an unauthorized OU symbol. At the current time, the Orthodox Union considers this product to be kosher and dairy, when the label indicates "Made in USA".

The following kashrus alert is from the Rabbinical Council of New England on July 11, 2011.

Please be advised that due to changes taking place in the facility, the Vaad Harabonim of New England only takes responsibility for products produced by Edelweiss Patisserie, Medford, MA and Burr Ridge, IL, that has a KVH-D symbol on the label. Please insure that the KVH-D symbol is on all packaging prior to use.

The following kashrus advisory is from the OU on July 7, 2011.

Some stores are selling 3 jars of Newman’s Own pasta sauces wrapped together in a clear plastic. Please note that these wrapped jars may contain both kosher and non kosher varieties of Newman’s Own pasta sauces. The OU symbol only appears on the kosher varieties. Please check the jars before buying them.
