The following kashrus alert is from the Chicago Rabbinical Council on September 20, 2007.

The following varieties of Streit's candies and nuts contain dairy ingredients, but the "D" dairy designation was mistakenly omitted. These products are indeed certified cRc - D Dairy.

The following kashrus alert is from a reader on September 19, 2007.

Gatorade has started using a "clear" label on some of its bevergaes. The label is marked with a conspicuous, stand-alone letter K on the side, a "label designator" for the company. The product is NOT certified kosher.

The following British kashrus alert is from the LBD on September 20, 2007.

Bulmers Cider listed in The Really Jewish Food Guide as approved and Parev has been re-launched with a new formulation. It is now called Bulmers Original Cider and is NOT kosher.

The following British allergy alert is from the FA on September 14, 2007.

Cadbury's has recalled its Dairy Milk Double Choc 'Win a Prize and a Half' promotional bars because of a labelling error. The allergy advice information on the label does not show that the product 'may contain traces of nuts', making the product unsafe for individuals who are allergic to nuts. Product details: Cadbury Dairy Milk Double Choc 'Win a Prize and a Half' promotional bar, 250g with the following batch codes: L7199, L7200, L7201, L7202, L7203.
No other Cadbury Dairy Milk products or any other 'Prize and a Half' promotional products are known to be affected.

The following kashrus notice is from the OU on September 17, 2007.

Effective August 29, 2007 OU is certifying repacked fish from the Benz's Fish Store, 332 Albany Ave., Brooklyn, NY when bearing the OU symbol.

The following kashrus alert is from the OK dated July 9, 2007.
Please be advised that OK Kosher Certification only certifies items from BENZ'S FISH which bear an OK on the label, such as their gefilte fish, tuna fish and other fish items (with skin on only). Items repacked in their store at the 332 Albany Avenue location are not certified by OK Kosher Certification.

The following pas yisroel notice is from the Chicago Rabbinical Council on September 11, 2007.
All necessary repairs have been made to the ovens, and we are happy to announce that all bread and pita products manufactured by Al Khayam Bakery in Chicago are once again Pas Yisroel. The manufacturer and the cRc apologizes for any difficulty this may have caused.

The following pas yisroel alert is from the Chicago Rabbinical Council on August 29, 2007.
Due to technical difficulties, all bread and pita products manufactured by Al Khayam Bakery in Chicago are temporarily not Pas Yisroel. The cRc hope to have the situation correction very shortly and will notify the public when the repairs have been made.

The following kashrus alert is from the OU on September 10, 2007.

Rice Dream Original, The Hain-Celestial Group- Modesto, CA: This product is sold in certain areas of Canada both with and without the OU symbol. Any product that does not bear the OU symbol is not kosher certified by the Orthodox Union. As always, the public is encouraged to check for the OU symbol on every product that is purchased.
