Israel's Kashrus Fraud Prevention Unit and Israelil Health Officials uncovered a illegal olive oil production factory in Kfar Zemer Industrial Park in Northern Israel. The products which were labeled 100% olive oil were tested by a lab in Portugal and found to contain a mixture of oils.
"An alert was issued pertains to olive oil with the following information.

• Gilad olive oil, cold press, 0.5%, 1 liter bottle with a final marketing date of December 31, 2018. Gilad Meshek 14, Mobile Post Har Menashe.
• Tavor Syrian olive oilgilad fake oil.PNG 0.8% extra virgin, 1 liter, filled by production 7532, Meshek Beit Chaggai 74, Mobile Post Har Tavor. Final marketing date December 31, 2018."
