The following kashruth advisorys were from the Chicago Rabbinical Council on March 4, 2002.
Sodas certified by the cRc for Pesach will bear the cRc symbol with a P-02 next to it. Some Pesach certified labels may list "corn syrup and/or sugar" on the label. The bottling company pronts labels in this manner to allow the same label to be used year-round. All cRc Pesach certified product are free of any kitniyos.
Due to a decision made by the Chicago area bottling company the following products will not be certified for Pesach this year in the Chicagoland area: RC Cola, Diet Rite Cola, and 7up and Diet 7up
The Chicago Rabbinical Council would like to inform the public that only the Coca Cola items bearing a Kosher L'Pesach symbol are acceptable for Pesach, even for Sephardim.
