The following information was received from a reader and confirmed by the Orthodox Union on Dec. 15, 1999.

SYSCO brand Liquid Margarine bearing an authorized OU vendor code of 000997 marked OU-D, however, the individual containers were marked with an unauthorized OU SYSCO Code of 000548 and marked with just an OU. The product is OU certified, but is OU-D (dairy).
