AMC GRAPEFRUIT at COSTCO in 8 pound bags are product of Israel, as stated on the tag, and require taking of Terumos and Maaseros. We have also received reports that CLEMENTINES at Costco in some areas are product of Israel.

June 15, 2017: The FDA:
Publix Super Markets is issuing a voluntary recall for Publix Tropical Medley Mix because it may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes. Publix received notification of the potential contamination from our supplier of dried apricot, The 5.7oz clear plastic containers of the mix were sold from Publix retail produce departments in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee and North Carolina with a UPC of 41415088586. All use by dates are being recalled.

These products contain dairy as indicated in the ingredient and allergen statements. Some labels bear a plain OU symbol, without the D – Dairy designation. Corrective actions are being implemented.

June 20, 2017: From the Dallas K:
As you can see the from the attached pictures the packages contains shrimp sold at Tom Thumb stores in Dallas. An alert customer picked up the bag and noticed a Hechsher printed on the bottom! It is from a very reliable and reputable certifying agency in London. A critical reading of the text under the logo should let you know that it is only the packaging that is kosher but not its contents!
Obviously that is very misleading and the company was unauthorized to placed the symbol on the empty bags. The packaging made its way over to the United States where it was sold to a number of supermarkets.
Please be aware that the shrimp in that package is not kosher!
Nor is the salmon or tilapia!

United Natural Trading LLC, Edison, NJ, is voluntarily recalling a limited number of products containing Organic and Natural dates (see below) and sold under the Nature’s Promise, Woodstock, Market Basket, and Wholesome Pantry brands due to a possible health risk from Listeria monocytogenes.

The lot numbers are printed on the back of each retail bag. The date containing products were shipped to retailers and distributors in limited quantities throughout the United States.
This recall was issued as a precaution because our firm received a recall notice from Hudson Valley Farms/ Bedemco recalling their natural and organic dates for potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.
Consumers who have any remaining product with these lot numbers should not consume it, but rather should discard it. Consumers should retain their store receipts, packaging reflecting lot numbers or any other proof of purchase they may have or return to the store for a refund. Retailers and consumers with questions may call Millie Carra at United Natural Trading, LLC customer service at 732-650-9905, which is open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (EST) Monday - Friday.
