The following nut and peanut allergy alert is from a reader and confirmed by the company on March 31, 2006.

Lieber's chocolate chips for Pessach are made in the same facility that treenuts and peanuts are processed. The packages do not list any allergen warnings. New packaging will list allergen warnings.

The following Canadian Passover alert is from COR on March 31, 2006.

Great Canadian Israeli Feta Cheese (cholov Yisrael) random weight with code date of best before Sept 26, 2006 or earlier even when bearing COR8 "Kosher for Passover" stickers was labeled in error and is NOT Kosher for Passover. Product is being removed from stores immediately. Product dated Sept 27, 2006 or later is supervised for Passover.

The following Canadian Passover notice is from COR on March 30, 2006.

Diet Coke bearing a COR Kosher for Passover label was inadvertently mislabeled. As in past years, the label should have had the KOS Passover endorsement instead of the COR due to the issue of Kitniyot Shnishtanah. Please guide yourselves accordingly.

The following Passover alert is from Kosherquest.org for Pesach 5766, 2006.

Many Kitniyos products on the market are certified as Kosher, especially from France and other European countries. These Kitniyos products are often in the form of candy. Many of these products will say "LeOchlay Kitniyos", but not all, such as Affula Sunflower Seeds etc.which is stamped "Kosher for Pesach" under the certification of Rabbi Gavriel Cohen. These are meant only for those Sephardim who have the Minhag to eat Kitniyos.

All baby food in jars or dry cereal without a reliable Passover certification should be considered chometz as they may have been produced on chometz equipment.

Joyva products are normally under the supervision of the Kof-K during the year. However, the Kof-K DOES NOT supervise any Joyva products for Passover.

Some of these labels inadvertently bear the KOF-K and RABBI MOSHE SOLOVEICHIK.

The following Passover cat food alert is from the Chicago Rabbinical Council on March 27, 2006.

Some labels of Evangers Beef and Liver Dinner for Cats show wheat germ as an ingredient. However, this is an error as it does not contain any wheat germ and is acceptable for Passover use.

The following Passover notice is from Star-K Keepingyoukurrent for Pesach 2006.

Dual hecksher- Some products bear a dual hecksher; one indicating a kosher for Passover status and the other indicating no Passover status or specifying Year Round only. The certification that does not mention a Pasover status does not take responsibility for the product's Passover status. e.g. Kvutzat Yavneh pickles bearing an OU-P and a B'datz year-round.
