The following clarifying information in a newspaper advertisement on June 12, 1998.
There have been various brands of Marinated Artichokes with an unauthorized OU on the label.
Currently the following brands of artichokes are certified as kosher by the Orthodox Union when bearing
the plant number R.S.I. 26.622/MU and the OU symbol:
(not to be confused with Four Seasons)
The following information was received by fax from the Orthodox Union on May 27, 1998.
The following brands of Marinated Artichokes bear an unauthorized OU and are not certified as kosher by the Orthodox Union.
Cento, Bellino, Ferrara, Unico and Four Seasons.
Currently only artichokes bearing the plant number R.S.I. 26.622/MU are certified when bearing the OU symbol.
