Consumer Kashrut Alerts

The following pas yisroel advisory was from the Kof-K on March 4, 2002.

It has come to the attention of the Kof-K that there is some confusion regarding the status of Won Ton Fortune Cookies. Some consumers are under the impression that this product is Pas Yisroel. Won Ton Fortune Cookies are Kosher and Pareve but NOT Pas Yisroel.
By special production, Won Ton Fortune Cookies are available as Pas Yisrael by contacting Rabbi Silbiger at beeper 732-914-7758. This is an independent service and is not controlled by the Kof-K. .
