September 17, 2026: From KLBD:
The following Princes products previously containing Mackerel and approved Parev are now made with Jack Mackerel (a different species of fish). They are Not Kosher due to shared production equipment with non-kosher products.
Please note that Jack Mackerel is a kosher species of fish and other products which fall under our general guidelines for canned fish would be permitted. The latest KLBD Guidelines for Canned Fish are as follows: Reputable brands of kosher species of fish, canned in brine, water or vegetable oil are generally permitted. Products known to be manufactured on lines used for non-kosher products are listed as NK. It is advisable to avoid products bearing an allergen warning relating to shellfish, crustaceans or molluscs
