From Bubbies Market & Deli: "Bubbies Market and Deli is saddened to announce that the community has been unable to secure a full time Moshgiach Temidi for our new store. While we are disheartened by this news, we would like to make clear what our own policy and standards will be while we wait for a Moshgiach to be hired and trained:

1. Bubbies Market is owned and operated by 2 Shomer Shabbat individuals.
2. There is a full camera system located within the building viewing all food production areas and all entrances and exits.
3. All food that is “open/opened” behind the deli counter or in our grab and go section meets the following standards:
4. Deli meat is all 100% Glatt meat.
5. All prepared foods are prepared in a meat kitchen at our sister business; Ahava Catering which is certified by Rhode Island Kosher. The certified kitchen is located less than ½ a mile away.
6. All items in our grab and go refrigerators that are prepared at our sister business, Ahava Catering, will contain their label and are prepared under the supervision of Rhode Island Kosher.
7. "There is no open dairy prepared at Bubbies Market and Deli. All dairy products are produced and sealed at Ahava Catering in a the dairy kitchen certified by Rhode Island Kosher.
8. "Hand sliced Nova and all smoked fish is cut and packaged on site at Bubbies Market in a separate area from the deli counter. All fish utensils are washed in a separate area from the deli counter utensils.

"While we are saddened by this unfortunate situation, we are confident in what we are providing to our consumers is a kosher standard equal to that of an Orthodox, Shomer Shabbat, Shomrei Mitzvot, Yotzei V’Nichnas standard in the absence of Moshgiach Temidi."
