OK Trademark Infringement (Keto)

April 28, 2022 from the OK in respose to a question from the editor:

The OK Kosher symbol (a circle with a K) is a registered trademark (USPTO Reg: 2094030) belonging to OK Kosher Certification, and when present on products falling under the categories covered by the trademark, represents kosher certification of such products.

Consequently, any companies using the trademark who are not certified by OK Kosher, are infringing on our trademark. As noted, the shape/size/extraneous words are irrelevant in terms of trademark misuse.

We have and will follow up vigorously with any company found to be using our trademark in this manner.

Members of the public finding labels with our symbol on products that do not appear on our website or the OK Kosher Food App, should bring this to our attention, either via the app or by sending an email to info@ok.org.
