This is a change since last year.

We would now advise that none of the Kendamil products which are currently sold in the US are KLBD certified.

The KLBD certified UK products are not available in the USA but they can be ordered from www.koshertrader.co.uk

October 27, 2022 - from the London Beth Din in response to a question from the editor:

Kendamil First Infant, Follow on and Toddler Milks are KLBD certified Dairy even if they do not have the logo.

June 15, 2022 - from the London Beth Din in response to a question from the editor:

The Kentamil products shown below have now been Kosher certified by KLBD Dairy have now been certified by KLBD as DAIRY (not Cholov Yisroel) ( KLBD-D, similar to OU-D) and will be sold in the USA due to formula shortage.

FDA Infant Formula Update: June 22, 2022

June 15, 2022 - from the FDA, revised on June 27 with information from the London Beth Din in response to a question from the editor:

Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is providing an update on additional steps it has taken that will lead to more infant formula available in the U.S. under the agency’s recent increased flexibilities.

Estimated Quantity/Bottle Equivalent: More than 4.8 million cans (more than 8.5 million pounds or more than 128 million full-size, 8-ounce bottles)

Availability: Immediate -- 25,000 cases (150,000 cans) will be in the first shipment and then 200,000 cases (1.2 million cans) per month afterwards

Where to Find More Information About the Products: Expected to be sold mostly in kosher supermarkets, but also in some mainstream retailers that sell kosher milk.

Cholov Yisroel version available which is sold by Global Kosher and this has a Kedassia hechsher and sold only to Kosher stores.
