In honour of Rosh Hashanah, an abundance of fruit from Eretz Yisroel has entered the retail produce market. This includes fresh dates and pomegranates from Israel. Please be sure to check stickers and store signage to determine country of origin. If produce is from Israel, it is subject to the laws of terumos and maaseros which should be taken according to the instructions in this article article
