November 2, 2023 from the Atlanta Kashuth Commission:
Kona Ice Trucks are not recommended for kosher consumers. The kosher letter they carry certifies their flavored syrups but does not certify their truck and anything they may add or use in the final product that is served to customers.
There were some instances in the past when Kona Ice was under temporary kosher supervision at specific events, but they are not recommended without kosher supervision.
