"Over 16,000 gallons of ice cream have been subjected to a voluntary nationwide recall due to possibly plastic contamination, according to a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) report.
"The recall, initiated by Wells Enterprises on April 25, affects 22 different varieties of ice cream and frozen yogurt distributed to 103 centers located in the U.S. The company pulled the products over concerns that plastic had been introduced during preparation. Wells Enterprises oversees brands that include Blue Bunny, Halo Top and Johnny Rockets."
