Please be aware that the Jewel brand of white bread, which usually bears the OU logo, is currently being sold without it. It should not be assumed to be kosher-certified unless the OU is clearly present on the package. The Jewel brand of wheat bread still correctly has an OU. Consumers are reminded to always inspect every package before purchasing.
