FDA Advises Consumers, Retailers, and Distributors Not to Eat, Sell, or Serve Recalled Black Sheep Egg Company Eggs

September 29, 2025 from the FDA:

Due to the potential for Salmonella contamination, Black Sheep Egg Company recalled their 12- and 18-count cartons of Black Sheep Egg Company branded Free Range Large Grade A Brown Eggs with Best By dates of 8/22/2025 through 10/31/2025 on the side of the carton.

The recalled product includes UPC codes: 860010568507 and 860010568538.

Black Sheep Egg Company of Walnut Ridge, AR also distributed eggs to other companies in Arkansas and Missouri between July 9, 2025, to September 17, 2025, that may have repackaged them. Additional products may be added to this advisory as information becomes available.

Product Details: These labels are examples only. Recalled products include Black Sheep Egg Company brand 12- and 18-count cartons of Free Range Large Grade A Brown Eggs with Best By dates of 8/22/2025 through 10/31/2025. Dates will be listed on the egg carton label.

The recalled product includes UPC codes: 860010568507 and 860010568538.
