December 11, 2025: MK Yoshon Updates:
- Please be advised that due to machinery issues at Umai Sushi in the Decarie Mall, all fried items, including fried sushi, are currently not certified Yoshon. Non-fried sushi, even when it includes tempura, remains Yoshon during this period.
We expect the issue to be resolved by Monday morning, December 15th 2025, and will update the community once it is corrected. Until we update, please follow the guidelines mentioned above.
- IGA at the Cavendish Mall continues to offer freshly baked, MK Yoshon certified pitas throughout the season. They are available on the regular shelves in the Pita section.
To identify them, look for an IGA label that says “PITA ... CUIT SUR PL” (see image above).
