January 6, 2025: expanded alert from the OK in response to a question from a reader:

All of the varieties of The Bakery at Heinen’s bagels that are marked with an "OK" symbol on the packaging are Kosher Parve under the OK. except Asiago. The "Asiago" is dairy (not chalov Yisrael,) and lists milk and cheese in the ingredients. An indication of Parve on the packages of the Asiago variety is a mistake. The Asiago is not certified at all.

January 2, 2025: from the OK:

Heinen’s Inc. Product: Asiago Bagels have an unauthorized OK:
Asiago Bagels, sold in Heinen’s Grocery Store locations, bear an unauthorized OK Kosher symbol.
Corrective actions are being taken.
