The following Israeli Passover alert is from Kashrus Magazine on March 26, 2006.

Vita Onion Soup (Vita-Pri Hagalil, Ltd. of Israel) bearing the symbol of the Chug Chsam Sofer-Petach Tikvah and the Rabbinate of Kiryat Malachi bears the claim to be Kosher L'Mehadrin "Special Production-Kosher For Passover, With No Concern For Kitniyot". In fact, the product is mislabeled as Kosher For Passover since non-Passover ingredients were used in the product. (This is the only Vita product effected.) An attempt to remove all product from the shelves may not be successful.
