The following Passover alert is from the Chicago Rabbinical Council on March 12, 2012.
Please be aware that although the aseptic pack tomato sauce that was distributed by the Hebrew Theological College (Skokie Yeshiva) for Purim is marked kosher for Pesach, it does contains soybean oil which is kitniyos. The Pesach certification was given by a Sephardic agency which allows kitniyos on Pesach.
The Hebrew Theological College regrets any confusion that this may have caused.
Ed. note from the cRC: It is an all Hebrew label. the brand name (in Hebrew) "Y'chin" (yud-chof-yud-nunsofit).
