The following South African Passover alert is from the Beth Din of Johannesburg on April 2, 2012.

All products produced and packaged for Pesach were produced under constant supervision and all ingredients were declared beforehand and checked by a qualified food technologist as well as by a qualified Rabbi.
Please note that some products certified for Pesach exhibit the normal all-year round label which may list Chametz of Kitniyot as an ingredient. Since the cost of reprinting labels is exorbitant and the Kashrut Department wants to keep costs to the minimum to benefit the final consumer, we do not insist on reprinting labels specifically for Pesach. We wish to ensure to the public that every step has been taken to ensure that all Pesach production has been done under the strictest guidelines.
