The following Passover alert is from the Rabbi Mayer Kurzfeld of the Star-K with additional information from the Chug Chasam Sofer on April 10, 2012.
Country Pie and Pastry Chocolate Souffle distributed by Beigel Bites USA, Inc. under the certification of Chug Hasam Sofer has been seen at a Star-K Passover program with the following problem. The outer label says kosher for Passover and the ingredient list on the inner box is the year-round label listing wheat flour.
At this time we are not sure if this product is mislabeled or chometz. Because of the seriousness of cometz do not serve until clarification.
