March 15, 2023 from the OU in response to a question from a reader:

The OU is only approving maple syrup with Pesach certification.

March 9, 2021 from the OU in response to readers' questions:

The OU has changed policy and is now requiring a "P" on Maple Syrup.

April 6, 2020 from the AKC and confirmed by the OU:

100% pure maple syrup with an OU is acceptable for Passover.
